Supporters

RespiraWorks thanks the following companies and individuals for their generous support of our mission.

Grants

CITRIS and the Banatao Institute have selected RespiraWorks for a $50,000 grant in support of our mission to build a low-cost, open source, full-feature ventilator. One of four interdisciplinary institutes for science and innovation at the University of California, CITRIS was created to develop information technology solutions for society’s most pressing challenges.

Protocol Labs has selected RespiraWorks as a recipient of their Covid-19 Open Innovation Grant of $20,000. With this funding we can fast-track injection molds for several difficult-to-source plastic parts and create custom PCBs for our control electronics, even before we've finalized an agreement with our potential manufacturing partners in Guatemala and India. This allows us to move as quickly as possible towards manufacturing our ventilators at scale.
